The Dark Stadium Ride's 22" size combines its heavily hammered, dark finish top and lathed, buffed underside to create a smooth wash and buttery feel. The crowning touch -- A large sized bell that produces a pingy and penetrating sound.
Trevor describes the Dark Spectrum Ride like this, "By far the Stadium Ride is the most versatile ride cymbal I've ever had. It's completely powerful for those times when I need exclamation from the bell, yet I can crash it, swing on it, and pull as many sounds out of it as I need. This ride is the king of rides." Like all Byzance Dark cymbals, the Dark Stadium Ride is meticulously handcrafted in Turkey from B20 bronze alloy that's designed to hold up over the long haul. The raw, untreated finish produces an earthy and organic sound with a fairly short sustain.
