These traditional splashes from Meinl’s Byzance series are smaller than the regularly sized cymbals and play the role of providing accents in any playing situation. These splashes are available in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” sizes.

As with all the other cymbals that Meinl creates, all of the Byzance Traditional Splashes are made of fine B20 bronze alloy, through traditional hand-hammering and lathing processes that give rise to a durable and excellent cymbal. Next, the cymbals are transported to Germany and undergo a two-step buffing method that provides its glossy shine and good looks for that wonderful brilliance when used on stage.
