The cymbals which Ralf Gustke uses in this video are: MCS 14" Medium Hihat, MCS 18" Medium Crash-ride, MCS 20" Medium Ride and MCS 16" Medium Crash
A great all-around cymbal that works really well with the Meinl cymbals you already have, or use it along side other cymbals with similar sound characteristics.
MCS Medium Crash Cymbals are harmonically matched and well-suited for the variety of musical styles you might encounter when you’re jamming or gigging. More ambitious drummers wanting to challenge themselves and build up their skill set will enjoy the crash’s fast response and powerful, full-bodied sound that slices through the amped up volumes of blazing guitars and thumping bass with the greatest of ease.
The wide-ranging sounds the crash delivers when it’s struck are clear and penetrating with a moderate sustain.
MCS Series cymbals are created in Meinl’s state of the art facility in Germany by drummer-focused craftsmen who know cymbals inside and out. They are made from a B8 bronze alloy that’s known for being bright and powerful with plenty of attack. The higher copper content in the alloy gives the cymbals a more reddish appearance.
Although tough enough to endure the harder playing styles and furious strokes that come with classic rock and metal tunes, these crashes also accommodate the softer tones of blues, pop and jazz. The computer-controlled lathing process ensures each cymbal has a uniform look and balanced sound.
