When creating a Meinl Mb20 cymbal, the bronze is hand hammered into shape in order to include tonal grooves that provide complexity and richer tones. Because the cymbal is hand hammered, Mb20 cymbals tend to have more variation between the individual cymbals within a single line, which means that you’ll have a darker and more unique sound than you would with other brands of cymbals.
Cosmetically, Mb20 have brilliant finishes, which is added on in the final steps of production in order to improve the visual aspect of the instrument, keeping your cymbal looking nice and shiny for longer than cymbals without a finish.
The Mb20 cymbal series includes medium heavy and heavy crashes, rock splashes, hi hats and chinas. They also make rides, heavy bell rides and pure metal rides, so whether you’re looking to supplement your existing set or start over new, you’ll be able to find exactly what you need.
