AAX cymbals are available in both natural and brilliant finishes. Brilliant finished cymbals are finished with a high-heat polish, which provides the smoothness needed for a glassier sound. Natural finished cymbals are known for providing a higher level of “bite” than the brilliant finished cymbals.

AAX cymbals are made from B20 alloy, which means that the alloy is composed of 20% tin and 80% copper. This provides a harder metal due to the larger amount of tin used, as opposed to the amount in other alloys.
