Cymbals Direct Shipping FAQ
If your order total is over $149, it ships for free!
All other orders will receive our low shipping rates with FedEx or USPS and your shipping cost will vary depending on the weight of the package(s) and distance from our shipping warehouse.
Find out what the shipping costs will be by placing items in the shopping cart. To place the item in your cart, click the red "Add to Cart " button.
Once you are viewing your shopping cart, a "zip code" textbox appears allowing you to enter your zip code and calculate shipping rates for the items you are considering. (Only works for U.S. and Canadian zip codes). Shipping Costs Are Estimated: Note that shipping costs may be higher than quoted in some rare cases, especially if you order oversized items, large quantities or if you are shipping to addresses outside of the contiguous United States. You will be notified prior to processing your order if shipping costs are greater than estimated.
Each order's shipping price varies depending on quantity, weight and destination. Shipping estimates are from the time FedEx or the Postal Service receives your package. Orders are usually processed within 24-48 hours (except weekends and holidays). International orders take some time to arrive so please be patient.

In most cases, a FREE SHIPPING item will be delivered via FedEx Ground. However, we may occasionally choose to ship an item via USPS Priority Mail if it makes more sense.
Tracking your Shipment:
We will send you an email containing the tracking number(s) as soon as your order ships. Depending on what you ordered will determine how quickly your order ships. As a general rule of thumb, Zildjian products typically, but not always, ship two to three days after you place your order. Most other products ship within 24-48 hours. If you need your order quickly, please contact us first for an estimate on how long it will take. For a status update you can contact us via email or use the live chat button.
Cymbals Direct Return Policy:
By purchasing from Cymbals Direct you agree to the following terms:
There is no restock fee for authorized exchanges. Returns for refunds are subject to a 10% restock fee.
Purchases made from this website - as well as any orders made via phone - are granted a thirty (30) day approval period from the date that the item ships. For orders that have multiple shipping dates due to product availability, the approval period is per item, not per order. Exceptions: We cannot accept returns for printed material, recorded material or used cymbals (cymbals with stick marks).
If you decide not to keep the merchandise, you may ship it back to our warehouse, in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. When we receive the item in its original condition, we will credit your account for the full product price, less the outbound shipping cost, to use on a future order. Customers requesting refunds will be refunded the amount of the product, less the outbound shipping cost and a 10% re-stocking fee. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
If you have an item that you would like to return, please inform us using this form. We will then contact you with return instructions.
Cymbals Direct allows one exchange per order. Authorized exchanges are for a similar, same cost item. Authorized exchanges that later result in a return request will resort back to the date of purchase on original item in determining thirty-day calculation.
Please retain the shipping carton and all original packing materials. Cymbals Direct reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if items are not returned in their original packaging.
If an item is unexpectedly backordered, we will contact you immediately to let you know your options. All backorder and special order items are subject to a 10% re-stock fee if you decide, for whatever reason, not to follow through with the purchase when the merchandise becomes available for shipment. No exceptions.
We accept payment using the following: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Check by Mail, Google Checkout and PayPal.
Is the Cymbals Direct website secure?
You can be assured that when placing your order through the Cymbals Direct website your details are secure. The Cymbals Direct website uses SSL (which stands for "Secure Sockets Layer"), the de facto standard for Internet security. SSL is an open protocol for secure data communications across the computer networks.
SSL provides a straightforward method for adding strong security to existing applications and network infrastructures. SSL is application protocol independent and provides encryption, which creates a secured channel to prevent others from tapping into the network; authentication, which uses certificates and digital signatures to verify the identity of parties in information exchanges and transactions; and message integrity, which ensures that messages cannot be altered en route.
In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is damaged or defective please inform us using this form. All claims for damage or defective products must be made in writing and within three (3) business days of receipt. We will be more than happy to replace a defective/damaged product, however please note we will not send you a replacement until the original damaged product has been returned. Also, the damaged/defective product must be returned within two weeks after informing us that you have received a damaged or defective item.
Please retain the shipping carton and all original packing materials. There will be a 20% restocking fee if items are not returned in their original packaging.
After you notify us, within 3 business days, that you have received a damaged or defective product we will then send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) label via USPS (regular mail). Upon receiving the RMA label please place it on the outside of the box for returning. We need this RMA number to be visible so we can correctly match up your product when it comes back to the designated warehouse. Once the RMA label is on the package, you can drop it off at a FedEx store or shipping facility, hand it to a FedEx driver or we can schedule a pick-up for you. You will need to let us know which option you prefer before we can send you an RMA label.
Upon receiving the damaged/defective product we will then send you a new replacement item.
If you fail to comply with any of the above terms we have the right to refuse issuing a refund for the damaged or defective item.
Prices, quantities, and availability of items on this website are subject to change. While we strive to provide a satisfying experience for all of our customers, if a listed item is sold, out of stock, differs or has changed in description, pricing, or attributes from what is listed on this website, we reserve the right to cancel any order that cannot be filled accordingly. Of course, in the event that a problem such as this may occur, we will be happy to try doing what we can to arrive at an agreeable solution with the customer.
In some cases the product photo may differ in appearance than the actual product you receive. While we strive to accurately display the characteristics of every product we offer, hand drums are hand made instruments and can vary in color, shading, size, and texture from the product photo on our site. If you're very specific on an exact color please call first before ordering to discuss your needs. Please note if you order an instrument, receive it, and are not happy with the color, shading, sound, fit, finish, etc... you may return the product, within 30 days and with original packaging, for a full product refund. However, please note the customer is responsible for all shipping fees to and from the warehouse and there will be a 10% re-stocking fee.
